KIDS BOXING PROGRAM
Our Training Program
Our kids boxing program is designed to build strength, confidence, and discipline in a fun and supportive environment. Tailored for children of all skill levels from as young as 5 years old, our classes teach the fundamentals of boxing, including proper stance, punching techniques, coordination skills and footwork drills, while focusing on safety and the importance of fitness and weight management at a young age. Our program includes allotted time for proper dynamic warm-up and stretches to prevent injury as well as strength & conditioning exercises.
Kids will also enjoy a mix of engaging activities like drills, bag work, team-building activities, offense and defense partner drills, and introduction to light sparring (optional), all under the guidance of experienced coaches. In addition to learning self-defense skills, your child will improve their coordination, focus, and overall fitness.
Our Focus
At Thruline, learning to box correctly is only one of our priorities; our boxing program goes beyond the ring. Our coaches also prioritize teaching students valuable life skills like self-control and emotional regulation. We emphasize respect, discipline, and accountability, helping kids channel their energy positively in school and everyday life. We believe in the importance for children to be taught important life skills at a young age, because this will later reflect their future during their professional careers. Through guided coaching, students learn to manage emotions, handle conflicts calmly, and make thoughtful decisions. Our focus is building a strong foundation for improving children’s self-esteem, their confidence in life, and learning to control their strengths, empowering them to succeed both inside and outside the ring.
